Its nearby and never overcrowded beach offers a fantastic view over the whole bay between the peninsulaes of Punta del Este and Punta Ballena and is renown for the magnificent sundowns and the southern right whales that visit the bay in July and August and can often be watched right from the beach.

The center of Punta del Este with its complete infrastructure can be reached by car in a few minutes.
