This thatched-roof house, built in 1978, is located in the quiet, upscale residential area of Solanas (Portezuelo), near Punta Ballena, just 650 feet from the beach on the wide bay of Portezuelo. Its location in the “second row” means it is sheltered from the wind behind the row of houses built on the beachfront,

The house offers a total of 3,574 square feet of living/usable space. On the ground floor is a large floor-to-ceiling living/dining room with a fireplace, designed on three levels, a separate kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as the former maid’s room with its own bathroom, which can be used as a small additional suite. There is also an additional living room in an open loft (which could easily be used as an office or library), as well as, on the upper floor (which does not occupy the entire area of the house), the master suite with its own bathroom and a terrace, and another bedroom, also with its own bathroom. The basement encompasses the garage and a playroom with access to the yard.

The living room opens onto a large, covered wood-deck terrace on the side facing the yard, which in turn leads to the yard, located on a lower level and surrounded by privacy-enhancing vegetation.
