The house, built in 1997, is rustic in style but very bright and welcoming. It offers plenty of space for large families and friends on its three floors.
From the main entrance you walk through a vestibule into a spacious living/dining area, spread out on two levels. Large windows and sliding glass doors let in plenty of sunlight. The living room is made even larger by a sunroom. The sunroom and dining room open onto a large kitchen with dining area. Also on the ground floor is one of the three en suite bedrooms.
An open gallery leads to the four bedrooms on the upper floor. One of the bedrooms with en suite bath is currently used as an office because of its large size. From here, a staircase leads to another en suite bedroom in the attic.
The house is very well maintained. All of the fittings and materials are of the highest quality; the living room floor is lapacho hardwood, the windows are double-paned and frosted. The house is heated by a fireplace, ceramic woodstove and numerous hot/cold air-conditioning units.
A large portion of the 3.7 acres grounds is made up of a park with a small lake, a pavilion and a swimming pool with sundeck.
Next to the pool is a large pool house with a parrillero or typical Uruguayan grill, a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as rooms for the service staff.
