This well-established tourist inn was built in 2005 by the current owner and has been gradually expanded and developed throughout the years. Thanks to its creative and friendly management, the tasteful and high quality furnishings in the eight guest rooms and apartments, the spacious common areas, the well-tended green areas and, last but not least, its wonderfully scenic location, this establishment has earned an excellent reputation, resulting in good occupancy rates throughout the year.
The complex comprises three buildings with a total living area of 9,690 square feet.
The heart of the complex is the main house, with a dining room, library and other common areas, lovely open galleries and a large outdoor dining area, a private apartment, utility rooms, an office, a spacious kitchen that is of course fully equipped for hotel operation, and four guest rooms.
In a separate guest house there are four very spacious and comfortable apartments with large bathrooms, each individually and very tastefully designed and furnished.
In the third building there is a small staff area, an outdoor grill and a depot with a workshop and storage area.
The buildings are surrounded by large expanses of beautiful park-like grounds that offer various seating areas ideal for rest and relaxation. A particularly noteworthy feature is the environmentally friendly “biotope” natural swimming pool, fed with spring water from a depth of 330 feet.
Because it is built on a slight elevation, the entire property offers a unique view of the mountainous landscape all around it.
As well as the many spots to rest and relax throughout the 279 acres of the grounds, there are also various options for more physical activities like hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding.
The property is highly accessible. The nearest town with shops to meet daily needs is just 2.5 miles away. It is a roughly one-hour drive to the coast near Punta del Este, and Montevideo is 100 miles away.
