This estate (chacra) is located at only 15 minutes by car from the Costa de Oro beaches (golden coast), at 30 miles from Montevideo and at 20 from the international airport.
There are six buildings on the 11acres-property:
The main residence with 1,775sqft of living space, a 1,012sqft-guest house, a studio apartment of 270sqft, a 3,230sqft-workshop, a large carport, and an old staff house, in need of renovation and a little apart from the other buildings, hidden behind the trees.
With its double walls, a well insulated roof, PVC-windows with insulated glass panes, central gas heating, air conditioning in all rooms and an efficient wood-burning stove, the main house offers top quality of living.
The 1,775sqft of living space comprise an ample living/dining room, an equally large yet welcoming and cosy eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a reception. This last room could easily be used as a fourth bedroom or as an office, because it turned out more common to enter the house via the front terrace – 540 roofed square feet of barbecue area with outdoor kitchen.
On the backside of the house there is another 540sqft-terrace, partially roofed, with swimming pool, sun deck and jacuzzi.
The small yet completely equipped studio apartment with kitchenette and bathroom is located right next to the main house. It has an independent entrance, a charming porch and it´s own little garden.
The larger guest house is set at a little distance from these buildings. On its 1,012sqft, a living/dining room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom offer enough space for a whole family. This house, too, is exceptionally well equipped with PVC windows with insulated glass panes, an efficient closed fire place and split air conditioning.
Guests may enjoy the big pool with wooden sun deck in front of the house.
The 3,230sqft-workshop offers sufficient room even for commercial purposes.
A eucalyptus forest of approximately 3.7acres also forms part of the property and serves as a supply of firewood. Two artificial ponds (tajamares) are available for irrigation or for the water supply of a small livestock.
The location and the distribution of the buildings are ideal for families, also for various generations, with the possibility to rent out to visitors.
