This olive plantation in the charming landscape of Sierra de Carapé is located at approximately 20mi north of San Carlos, by car only 15 minutes off the national route 39. Access ways and transport connections are both very good.
The plantation itself comprehends nearly 82 acres with some 15.400 olive trees of the varieties Arbequina, Coratina, Picual, Arbosana, Leccino and Hojiblanca, all planted in 2010 and already providing good crops.
Other parts of the property could also be used for agricultural means. The soil index CONEAT also shows ideal values for a vineyard, for example. To built a house wouldn´t be a problem either.
For irrigation there are three man-made ponds.
The olive oil is already registered by the city of Montevideo and can be sold all over the country. If desired, tractors, tools, etc. can also be purchased.
